At Balsamroot Exteriors, we believe that every homeowner deserves a remodeling experience built on trust, quality, and true local expertise. Founded by Steven “John” McMullen — a Spokane native with over a decade of experience — our company was created to fill a real gap in the Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho market: the need for a contractor who genuinely puts the homeowner first.
The Balsamroot flower, our namesake, is a symbol of resilience across the Pacific Northwest. It flourishes after fires, stands strong through storms, and brings beauty to even the toughest landscapes. That’s the spirit we bring to every project. Whether it’s roofing, siding, windows, or gutters, our work is built to last — crafted carefully to protect your home through every season.
WHOLE-HOME EXTERIOR PLANNING
Home remodeling in Spokane is not limited to interior updates. Your roof, siding, windows, gutters, and exterior details work together to protect your home, improve its appearance, and support long-term energy efficiency.
Instead of treating every upgrade as a separate job, our remodeling team helps you create a coordinated exterior plan. Whether you need a new roof, replacement siding, high-performance windows, or better water management, we recommend solutions that complement your home and perform well through Spokane’s changing seasons.
